FORMAT: 13/14U baseball plays in the Don Edwards Babe Ruth Baseball League (donedwardspark.org). League is comprised of many Licking County communities. There are Spring and Summer leagues. You have the option to play in either or both. Each of the three options has its own registration.

EVALS: Based on registration numbers, GRD will decide if we will have 1 or 2 teams. If there is one team, an evaluation will occur before the season with potential cuts.

GAMES: All games will be played at Don Edwards Park.

PRACTICES: All practices will be at Racoon Valley Park. Practice days will vary. Contact points can vary between 4-6 days

UNIFORM: Jersey, hat, socks, pants provided

EQUIPMENT: Glove, batting helmet, bat, cleats required

INTRODUCING THE GRANVILLE BLUE WAVES SWIM TEAM–NEW IN 2025!

FOCUS: A fun, recreational, learn-to-swim team open to all children ages 5-18, whether or not they live within the Granville EVSD boundaries. Instruction ranges from introductory training for beginning swimmers through extensive summer conditioning and stroke work for advanced swimmers.

FORMAT: We participate in the Tri-County Aquatics League. The summer swim season runs for 7 weeks beginning on Monday, June 2nd (first day of practice) and ending on Wednesday, July 16th (Championship Meet). 

SEASON DATES: 6/2/2025 - 7/16/2025

PRACTICES: MTWThF from 8:00-9:00am OR 9:00-10:00am at Heath City Water Park (membership to Heath City Water Park is NOT required). All levels of instruction will be offered during each practice time, so families with multiple swimmers may sign up their whole family for one practice time. 

SWIM MEETS: 6 dual swim meets, plus Championship Meet

2. Wednesday, June 11th at Huntington Hills (PM)

3. Wednesday, June 18th at Valley View (PM)

UNIFORM: One cap per swimmer will be included in registration fees. Team swimsuit and goggles are required and must be purchased separately. Team suit fitting will be April 9th from 5:30-7pm at Granville Middle School. 

FEES: This year’s registration fee is $275 per swimmer (for both Granville residents and non-residents). It includes a team cap for each swimmer, league fees, banquet cost, and all fees associated with using Heath City Water Park (hence no HCWP membership requirement). 

REGISTRATION: IMPORTANT–PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

All participants MUST–

1. Go to GranvilleBlueWaves.Swimtopia.com to register their swimmer(s), sign up for specific practice times and volunteer positions.

2. Return to GranvilleRec.org to complete GRD registration, sign Parental Code of Conduct, Lindsay’s Law, etc. and to complete payment.

SWIMMERS ARE NOT CONSIDERED REGISTERED UNTIL BOTH STEPS ARE COMPLETED. NO SWIMMER WILL BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE UNTIL REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT ARE COMPLETED.
