Various art classes are held for preschool and youth throughout the year. Previous classes have included Color Me Crazy, Artful Antics, Experimental Drawing and Sketchbook Play, Up in Stiches – Embroidery and Sewing, Fantasy Maps, and more. Throughout the year the GRD offers a variety of clinics, camps, and clubs. A majority of these take place in the summer. Previous opportunities include sport clinics such as tennis and soccer, along with Bally Sports Groups Clinics and Camps, and everything from nature camps to dance to fishing. Every year multiple fitness and recreation programs are offered throughout the seasons. Previous classes included Girl Time Yoga, Master’s on the Mat, Train for Freedom S.P.E.E.D Training, Try It Ice Hockey, and more. Click on the registration button to the left to find current program offerings.

Join the GRD for free events throughout the year. Previous free events have included Concerts on the Green, Bubble Day in the Park, Drop in Crafts, and nature opportunities at Spring Valley Nature Preserve.

ItThe Gingerbread House competition is held annually in late November - Early December. Houses are on display during the Christmas Candlelight Walking Tour in downtown Granville on the 1st Saturday in December at the Robbins Hunter Museum. Registration can be completed in person or online. Click the rules below for all important information and dates.

The GRD offers a variety of summer camps and clinics throughout all categories such as arts, sports, education, fitness, and more.
The GRD offers a variety of half and full day camps each summer including wonderful water, Adventureland, Detective Academy, and more.

The Wildwood Community Garden provides space for those who would like to garden but are unable to at their current residency or those who prefer the communal aspect of gardening. Due to the high demand for Garden Plots a lottery for new members is held each year based on plot availability.
SEASON DATES: April 1 - November 1
PLOT SIZE: Half Plot (approximately 20×20 FT) or Full Plot (approximately 40×40)
PLOT LOTTERY: Residents who do not currently have an assigned garden plot are eligible to enter the Wildwood Community Garden Lottery. Those wishing to enter may register in January-February. Winners will be announced in early March. It is free to enter the lottery, but winners must pay the yearly plot fee.

Adult Basketball and Volleyball are offered throughout the school year at Granville High School and Granville Middle School. These programs have a yearly registration fee and participants need to sign up through the GRD in order to be eligible to take part.
