General Sports Assistant

JOB DUTIES: The Granville Recreation District is always seeking qualified, creative and positive people to become part of our team. Summer Camp Counselors

TYPE: Part-Time/ Seasonal
REPORTS TO: Day Camp Coordinator/Program Director
JOB DUTIES: Camp Counselors work at a variety of camps Granville Recreation District Camps throughout the Granville Area (including Infirmary Mound, Spring Valley Nature Preserve, Wildwood Park, and the Granville School District Buildings).  Camp counselors should be prepared to supervise, engage, and oversee campers of all ages.  Camper safety is of utmost importance and camp counselors should always be vigilant.  Typical camp counselor duties include helping with set up and tear down, assisting with camper check in and check out procedures, assisting with various games, crafts, and more.  Counselors should feel comfortable leading small groups (5-10 kids) in various activities.

JOB DUTIES: The Granville Recreation District provides both educational and recreational programming during the school year and over the summer. We are always looking for new and interesting classes/programs to offer.

February 15, 2025 is the submission deadline for classes to be included in our Spring/Summer program guide.
