Through partnerships with…
Granville Exempted Village Schools.
The Village of Granville, Granville Schools, and Granville Township created the Granville Recreation District in 2009 to serve as Granville’s comprehensive public parks department.
This School partnership allows GRD participants facility access while the GRD serves as the school's programming arm, offering recreational programming, including 12 middle school sports offerings.
Licking County Community Center.
The Granville Recreation District supports the LCCC60+ through assistance with its Summer Bingo program and multiple special events throughout the year.
Village of Granville.
The Village of Granville, Granville Schools, and Granville Township created the Granville Recreation District in 2009 to serve as Granville’s comprehensive public parks department.
The GRD manages Wildwood Park for the Village and the TJ Evans Foundation.
Granville Township.
The Village of Granville, Granville Schools, and Granville Township created the Granville Recreation District in 2009 to serve as Granville’s comprehensive public parks department.
The GRD manages Spring Valley Nature Preserve, Raccoon Valley Park and McPeek Lodge, for Granville Township.
Bryn Du Mansion.
The Granville Recreation District partners with the Bryn Du Commission for the COTG summer concert series. The space for the events is made available free of charge.
The GRD uses the athletic fields and the field house as rental facilities to meet growing programming needs.
Licking County Family YMCA.
The Granville Recreation District and YMCA work hand in hand to offer comprehensive youth sports programming for Licking County. Some of the collaborations include youth baseball, youth basketball, and youth volleyball.
Licking Park District.
The Granville Recreation District works with Licking County Parks to provide summer programming at Infirmary Mound Park.Granville Public Library.
Granville Public Library.
The Granville Recreation District works with the library on the Granville Programmer’s Group.
Granville Area Chamber of Commerce.
The Granville Recreation District works with the Chamber by making RVP available for free usage at the Granville Farmer’s Market and supporting the Christmas Walking tour through the Gingerbread Festival.
Denison University.
Denison has been a gracious partner, providing programming space when available.
Granville Turkey Trot Committee.
The GRD collaborated with the Granville Turkey Trot Committee (GTT) and St. Luke's Church as a partner to provide online registration for the 19th Annual 2024 Granville Turkey Trot 5K FUN Run/Walk. Proceeds will again be benefitting the Food Pantry Network of Licking County.

Kiwanis of Granville.
The service organization, Kiwanis of Granville, has been a long-time supporter of the Granville Recreation District. It started back when the GRD was just a rec commission. Through annual support of our youth sports programs, two wildwood playground build-outs and many community events, we are very appreciative of the organizations’ support and its’ community leaders.
Granville Community Foundation.
The Granville Recreation District is grateful for the foundation’s generous support of programs such as the Wildwood Playground Build Out and the Concert on the Green.
Rotary Club of Granville.
The service organization, Rotary Club of Granville, has long supported the Granville Recreation District. It started back when the GRD was just a rec commission. Through the annual support of our youth sports programs, Sargent-Frazier Softball Fields, and the upcoming Rotary Pavilion, we greatly appreciate the organization’s support and its’ community leaders.
